About the Event
Next Cast is our 201-level small group learning session for women who already know the fundamentals and are ready to build stronger skills, better understand what's happening on the water, and become more confident fishing independently.
This is a hands-on day of learning and fishing. Rather than starting with the basics, we'll focus on helping you understand how to make better decisions on the water—from where and how you cast to what you fish and why.
What You'll Learn
Topics may include:
• Precision casting — adjusting your casting stroke for shorter, more accurate casts
• Distance casting — including single and double haul techniques
