About the Event
Join Girls Who Fly Fish and Brian Ross for a unique backcountry fly fishing adventure in the Great Smoky Mountains.
This small-group outing is designed for anglers looking to experience high-elevation wild trout water beyond the beaten path. We'll meet at 8:00 AM at the Gatlinburg Welcome Center Park & Ride and carpool into the park before hiking to a remote mountain stream.
Along the way, Brian will share his knowledge of Smoky Mountain ecology, backcountry travel, stream exploration, and finding wild trout in some of the park's most beautiful waters. This is a true blue-lining experience that includes hiking, off-trail travel, and fishing remote streams.
