Join Girls Who Fly Fish for a weekend of fly fishing, community, and relaxation in the heart of Southwest Virginia. Nestled along the streams of Damascus, this retreat is designed for women who want to improve their fishing skills, explore new waters, and connect with other anglers in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Whether you're brand new to fly fishing or have years of experience on the water, you'll spend your weekend learning local waters, fishing alongside other women, enjoying cozy cabin accommodations, and exploring one of Virginia's most beloved trout towns.

Learn about local waters, river access, seasonal hatches, and fishing opportunities
Afternoon fishing session on local streams
Dinner in town with the group
Optional evening campfire gathering

Sunday | Slow Morning & Departure

Breakfast in cabins
Optional morning fishing session
Pack up and say goodbye
Depart around 11:00 AM

A $200 non-refundable deposit reserves your space. We will contact you for your room preference and payment plan. The remaining balance will be invoiced and is due by August 25, 2026. Payment plans are available. Participants registering after August 25, 2027 must pay in full at registration.

Cancellation Policy

Because lodging and retreat expenses are reserved in advance, the following cancellation policy applies:

Deposits

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your space. All deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another participant approved by

Girls Who Fly Fish.

Cancellations

60+ days before retreat.

Refund of all payments made, minus deposit.

Waitlist Replacement

If we are able to fill your spot from the waitlist, we will refund all payments made minus the non-refundable deposit and any processing fees.

Retreat Cancellation
