Frequently asked questions

Do I need fly fishing experience?

Not at all! Beginners are always welcome. Our all-women guiding team works with anglers of all skill levels, and each trip is tailored to your experience, interests, and comfort level.

Do I need my own fishing equipment?

No! Fly rods, reels, and tackle are provided. If you have your own equipment, you're welcome to bring it. We'll discuss any additional gear needs before your trip.

Can men and children book a guided trip?

Absolutely! While our guiding team is made up of women, our trips welcome everyone—women, men, couples, families, and friends. We'll help determine an appropriate experience based on age and ability.

How many people can join a guided trip?

Our guided trips are private experiences for one or two anglers. A third angler may be added for an additional $50 on half-day trips or $75 on full-day trips, subject to guide approval and fishing conditions. For larger groups, please contact us to discuss a customized trip.

Where will we be fishing?

We fish beautiful trout streams throughout East Tennessee. Your guide will select an appropriate location based on your experience, interests, accessibility, and current water conditions. We'll confirm your meeting location before your trip.

Do I need a fishing license?

Yes, if required for your age and fishing location. Tennessee generally requires a fishing license for anglers ages 13 and older, and additional permits may apply depending on where we fish. We'll help you understand what you need before your trip.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Your safety is our priority. If weather or water conditions make fishing unsafe, we'll contact you to discuss rescheduling or other options in accordance with our booking policy.
